Loose natural diamonds
Every loose diamond we sell is a natural, earth-mined stone — graded under standard conditions. Certified stones are matched to their grading report by certificate number. No treatments you don't know about, no surprises at the bench.
Diamond jewelry
Set only with natural diamonds, our jewelry is bench-checked piece by piece — prongs, melee, finish — before it earns a stock number. Buy it ready to show, with margin built in.
Diamond knowledge
One short course in diamond quality — the same language every listing in our stock list is written in.
One carat equals 0.20 grams, and is divided into 100 points. A 1.00 ct stone weighs as much as twenty 5-point melee stones — but because large rough is rare, price per carat climbs steeply at each whole-carat mark.
Round-brilliant diameters are approximate and vary with proportions; always confirm with the listed measurements.
The GIA color scale runs D (colorless) through Z (light yellow or brown). Grades are assessed face-down under controlled lighting, comparing the stone against master stones. Most buyers find the D–J range offers the best balance of beauty and value.
D–F are considered colorless, G–J near-colorless, and K–M faintly tinted. Beyond Z, stones become fancy colors — a separate market with its own grading.
Clarity measures internal inclusions and external blemishes, viewed at 10× magnification. Inclusions are nature's signature — proof the stone formed in the earth, not in a lab. Many remain invisible to the unaided eye.
FL (flawless) to I3 (included). For value, VS1–VS2 and eye-clean SI1 stones are the trade's sweet spot: clean to the eye at a fraction of the top grades' price.
Cut is the only C shaped entirely by the cutter: proportions, symmetry, and polish that determine how a diamond handles light. A well-cut stone returns light to the eye as brilliance; a poor cut leaks it out the back, whatever its color and clarity.
Cut grades apply to standard round brilliants; fancy shapes are evaluated mainly on polish, symmetry, and overall make. Two stones of identical weight can look very different in size depending on cut.
